the black sea

the black sea is an ambient and drone music project started by Hong Kong-based artist Sky Kung. Create atmospheric soundscapes using guitars, synthesisers, cassette tapes, and custom-made instruments.

As a media artist, sound designer, and electronics instrument creator, Sky is interested in sound synthesis, programming, and hardware hacking. He obtained his BA from the School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong, where he cultivated his experimental approach to music production and instrument design.
