Sky Kung is a Hong Kong-based media artist, music producer, and instrument maker. His works across Sound Art, Performance and Device Making. He explores the intersection of sound and visual art by making electronic instruments and using creative coding. His practice seeks to expand artistic potential, empowering creators to shape their own tools, while bridging technical experimentation with expressive freedom.⁠

He earned a BA from the City University of Hong Kong’s School of Creative Media (2020). In his solo project (the black sea), he delves into ambient music through tape loops, soundscapes, and drone experiments, while as a guitarist, he crafts dreamlike textures with effect pedals in the band (Lucid Express).

Sky Kung 是一位媒體藝術家、音樂製作人及樂器製作者。創作涵蓋聲音藝術、現場演出與裝置創作等領域。透過自製電子樂器與創意編程，開拓聲音與視覺藝術的跨感官聯動性，其藝術實踐旨在擴延創作可能，賦予創作者形塑工具嘅自主權能，於技術理性與藝術感性之間，探索創意自主的路徑。

他於香港城市大學創意媒體學院獲得學士學位(2020)。以個人項目「the black sea」專注於環境音樂創作，專注於磁帶循環、聲境構建與長音實驗，同時作為結他手，他在樂隊「Lucid Express」中運用效果器營造夢幻音色。
